Lake Geneva is a lake on the north side of the Alps, shared between Switzerland and France. It is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe and the largest on the course of the Rhône. Regularly scheduled lake boats connect the numerous villages and cities, and small ferries, called “Mouettes”, carry passengers in Geneva rapidly from one shore of the lake to another.
There is a special culinary trip or a cruise to notable sights. Such as the emblem of the city of Genova, the “Jet d’eau”, an up to 140-meter high water fountain that is illuminated at night. Famous landmarks are also the Chillon Castle and the Montreux promenade. Which when visiting will tempt you to take a cruise on the “Haut Lac” between Vevey, Montreux, Chillon, Villeneuve, and Le Bouveret.
